Medina, also known as ‘’The Luminous City,’’ was the first city in which Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) established the Muslim Community in 622 CE.
In a Hadith reported by Anas ibn Malik, “The most beloved of colors to God's messenger (PBUH) was green.” In another Hadith reported by Al-Tirmidhi, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Wear white clothing. For, indeed, it is from the best of your garments.”
